I love this new set called Betsy's Blossoms out of the new Stampin' Up! catalog. Recently I was in a big swap with other demonstrators in our upline,sideline, downline. We have a HUGE group from all over the country. Lots of very talented demonstrators that's for sure! I picked so many favorites from these swap cards. I used 4 "tweeked" designs for my Forget Me Not cardkeeper class this week. Tweeked because I like to make it my own. But don't get me wrong the basic design is usually not changed much.
This card was one of them. I used a design by my friend Rachel Chamberlain and changed it only a little. My youngest daughter Abby suggested a yellow "sun" by the bird (she's full of great ideas) which of course required that I add the daffodil bow (Rachels was white which was cute but I wanted to use new ribbon ;-) I had to change the colors around a little, not because I wasn't in love with what Rachel did, but, mostly because I had already accounted for the colors she used with another card and since I do my class in stations I had to make a change. I love these bright colors too! Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and the new Primrose Petals. Add a phrase from Teeny Tiny Wishes and you have the perfect card!
