I really loved this card layout that my friend and fellow demonstrator Cathy Roy came up with for her swap that we did with our group. The red, white and blue seems perfect for summer not just the 4th of July. Very masculine feeling to me. The card size it a little different 4.25 x 4.25 which I love and the texture is amazing. You can't go wrong with those embossing folders and the Big Shot! I can hardly make a card without adding a little texture anymore! Can you say Addiction? :)
I decorated it completely different than Cathy's beautiful card since I didn't own the set she had. I have used all kinds of set with this card layout but this one is extra special because I am sending it to one of my nephews for his 26th birthday. I think I need to make 2 because I completely neglected to send his brother a card for his 24th birthday! (they know me enough to know I make cards...don't always get them sent right away...ok never on time!) There I admit it!
