Collage Curios~ with Featured Artist Mary McNeely

My Friend Mary McNeely made this card.  I had to beg and almost steal it from her!  She made them for a swap at the Stampin' Up! Leadership event in January but I really wanted one and she was so kind to share.  I think she said this "wasn't a perfect one" but to me it's GREAT!  I love it!  She used the new Collage Curios set #129102 (Clear) from the Spring Catalog. The layering and layout is so appealing.  The colors are rich and delicious and she used the paper from the new Print Poetry pack of Designer Series Paper #129312.  These little paper packs are just the right size in my book and definitely the right price only $6.95!  I have found myself using more DSP now that it comes in this format.  It seems so usable and so many more patterns.  Find it in the Spring Mini Catalog.

Today's Featured Artist~Rachel Chamberlain

Today's featured artist is my friend and fellow demonstrator Rachel Chamberlain.  We just attended a Stampin' Up! regional event in Louisville, KY this weekend and had so much fun together!  Stampin' Up! always does such a fantastic job making the day special for their demonstrators.  One of the things we love to do is swap ideas with each other and this featured card is one my friend Rachel created to share with us.

Today's Featured Artist~Leslie Sollars

I thought you might enjoy seeing a beautiful card from my friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Leslie Sollars.  I stopped at Leslie's house earlier this week to pick up something she had borrowed from me and she showed me this card she had done that weekend with one of her clubs.  Now people tend to call me bold or assertive perhaps well I didnt' let them down this time either.  I snatched it right up and said, "Can I have this?!"  What was the woman to do? ;-) Of course she relinquished the card to me. 

I was hoping to use it this week in my class but I had too many sign up and not enough buttons on hand (a great "problem" to have) so I am saving it for another day but I really wanted to share it with you today.  Leslie used 1/2" strips of my current favorite Spice Cake Designers Series Paper and added a tag punched with the Decorative Label punch and stamped with the Falling Leaves set from the 2011-12 Idea Book & Catalog.  Add the Matching Spice Cake Designer Button tied with some linen thread and it makes a very adorable Thanksgiving/Fall card!

Today's Featured Artist~Linda Yearsley

Each month I invite my downline to come and stamp with M.E. in my Studio. We call it our Stampin' Bee!  We have SO much fun together laughing, eating and stamping together.  We love sharing so we always do a swap of some kind.   I want to show you a swap that one of my downline gave to me last month.  Linda shared this adorable box with me.  I LOVE it!

Linda never misses a detail.  Her designs are beautiful and complete.  The paper is from the Frightful Sight collection (#122351) in the Idea book & catalog.  So adorable.  Check out the back on her box...remember what I said NO detail left behind.....

She embossed it with the Spider Web Textured Embossing Folder (#120889) see what I mean.  Adorable and check out how much CANDY this box #2 holds!!  Can you believe she gave this to me 3 weeks ago and there is still candy in it!!  Well, not for long.  I think I'm feeling a sweet tooth coming on!
