Yesterday I showed you how I made the flower on the right from the pretties kit. I colored it with my aqua painter and some watercolor crayons. I colored right on the flower and then used the water brush and let it bleed for this watercolor look. Then I remembered I had the fun flower on the left sitting on my desk. I had made it several months ago maybe even 6 or more! I colored the flower with the crayons then I took my heat tool and melted the flower and watched as it curled up beautifully. I finished it off with beads from the pretties kit that I had attached with crystal effects. I really loved the way it turned out but didn't know what I was going to do with it.
Here is what I ended up making with it. I really like these easel cards I have been seeing everywhere.
I looked through my papers to match the favorite chocolate chip and pink I used on this card and found some in the love sparkles simply scrappin kit. So I also used some of the wonderful cardstock weight self adhesive borders on this card. It really finishes things off. To make the Thank you greeting from the With All my Heart set in the occassions mini set I embossed it in white. It makes it pop and look professional.
