Last week I showed you how I covered one of the corduroy buttons with Designer Series paper. I had yet to make the button into a card so I finally got around to making a very simple yet pretty card. Here I added the button center to one of our silk flowers from the Pretties kit. I had colored the flower with an aqua painter and watercolor crayons then I let it dry.
I stamped the DSP with Basic Grey ink and a stamp from the tiny tags set. I duplicated that stamp on the card. I stamped it off before stamping it so I could get a more subtle image so I could put the "hello" greeting on top of it. You can see below how I held the button while I added the crystal effects and let it dry for a little while. It takes about 30 minutes to dry so you can handle it. So not too long. I just know I really liked the way it turned out. It's just a great way to get a totally different look with Stampin' Up! products.
Here is a close up of the flower after it was mounted on the card. I really like the way it turned out.
