My upline Meg sent me this picture Wednesday so I thought I would be brave and share it today. This is me demonstrating the Faux Patina technique at our annual meeting and my display board. Don't be too hard on me I didn't have a lot of time. ;-)
I am blessed to have a wonderful downline. I asked a special demonstrator in my downline, Linda, to see if she could do just 1 or 2 samples for me. I think she was like me and couldnt stop! So with my 5 or 6 samples and her 5 or 6 I had a nice array of samples for everyone to see.
Here is the Get Well card. On it I used Crumb Cake ink as my base. Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive as my midtones and then Early Espresso classic ink for the Antiqueing. I used Gold embossing powder to highlight then rubbed a little platinum Shimmer Paint over all. What a fantastic look in person! So beautiful!
As a reminder the technique I am refering to can be found here
