Yes, I am singing Elton Johns "Someone Saved My Life Tonight". I can't help myself. I love this new LARGE butterfly background stamp "Swallowtail" #129216. It's so beautiful. It looks like it can fly right off the page. I had to show you what we are going to be making tomorrow at my 3C's Class (Coffee, Cookies and Card-making). I received a card very similar to this one at a Leadership conference I went to a week ago in Orlando but unfortunately this artist did not sign the back of her card so I do not know who to credit for the idea. Of course I had to tweak it a little but the colors are the same and the technique is the same. It was just a pretty card.
I like the Pool Party colors. So have you figured it out? I stamped the butterfly then I put a mask over it and brayered some pool party ink over it before mounting it on the Pool Party cardstock . What you can't really see in this picture is that the butterfly is spritzed with the Vanilla Smooch Spritz so it has a nice shimmer to it. Lastly the part I changed from the original was the ribbon. It just needed a little extra embellishment in my opinion. Well, I hope the ladies enjoy it tomorrow.
