When I asked my Son what kind of cake he wanted for his 21st birthday he didn't hesitate to say Tres Leche cake. One of our family favorites. It's so delicious, moist and yummy! I love the recipe from The Pioneer Woman.
I am not a big lover of birthday candles. When you get to my age it takes FOREVER to get them all lit and all the wax dripping on the cake...well, you get the point. We always sing the Birthday Song and I usually have one candle somewhere to blow out so the birthday girl or boy can make a special wish so no worries there. So to dress up this cake I remembered that I received this great quick project not so long ago right in my mailbox from My Paper Pumpkin. A resource from Stampin' Up! that gives M.E. a 15 to 30 minute creative "get away" every month. I love it!
Here is the adorable birthday banner. What do you think?
Here is the birthday boy Ethan getting ready to enjoy his delicious cake. There was only one piece left so that speaks volumes on how much we all LOVE it!
