The holidays are ... candy canes from a visit with Santa ... marshmallows in hot cocoa ... Christmas cookies with sprinkles. Some of our most special holiday memories are wrapped up in a small gesture at just the right time, like a little gift of yummies to say "I'm thinking of you". Sweeten someone's holiday with a thoughtful gesture of your own and this adorable chocolate treat holder.



As an alternative, this layout could be used on a note book to keep track of your Christmas shopping list. My favorite journals to work with are the Kraft Grid journals (#135719). They are affordable and just the right size to fit in your purse!

Project 10: Santa Stache Photo Prop Cards



Rosy cheeks ... twinkling eyes … a belly that shakes like a bowl full of jelly … but what about Santa's mustache? Sure, people talk about the beard, but what about the mustache? Well, since the mustache is all the rage now, Santa's 'stache is finally getting some recognition. Share some of the fun with this "interactive" Santa Stache card … you just might end up with a 'stache of your own!











This fun set is also perfect for dressing up a simple gift bag, creating an extra special gift. Use one of the Tag Topper punches to create a tag as tall as you like. The 2" width of these tags is PERFECT for the mustache to hang off the sides a bit. Just stamp Santa or the Nutcracker onto the tag and color your image. Then die cut and add a mustache with Stampin' Diminsionals. For even more interest, try using Designer Series Paper on your tag. Stamp your image onto scrap paper, cut it out, and add it to the tag. Then add your mustache!







There are a number of ways to use a blending technique with our alcohol markers. Here is a video that demonstrates a technique I find helpful. Please let me know what you think.

Even Christmas is not immune to commercialism, as pointed out by one of the characters in A Charlie Brown Christmas. But don't get down about it this holiday season ... instead, have a little fun. Can you imagine what a text on Santa's iPhone might look like? Give some holiday cheer and a few laughs when you give your gift cards in this Santa's iPhone gift card holder. HOHOHO!





Create a tie on the Gift Card envelope with the Tree Punch (#135859) and the All is Calm Specialty Designers Series Paper. Punch 5 trees, fold them in half, and attach them together, one side at a time, to make them fan out. Stamp a sentiment, using Holiday Invitation (#135074). Add some Silver Satin ribbon and you have a lovely Gift Card envelope to tie on to a package or give as a gift itself!

Did you wake up Christmas morning and rush out to see what was under the tree? Did you and your family members take turns playing Santa and passing out the gifts to everyone? Did you peek at the gift tags to see who's name was on the "To" line? Tags are a crucial part of gift giving, but just because they're functional, doesn't mean that they can't be cute. You can adorn your packages with some handmade love this season with these festive gift tags and tag cards.





For another option such as the tree card below, punch a tree with the tree punch (#135859) and glue top and bottom to the tag. Punch and add a star at the top. Glue a piece of Champagne Glimmer paper to the bottom.
