I am feeling a little off my "game" right now and I am not exactly sure why. I spent a whole weekend a couple weeks ago with a friend completely giving my craft studio a once over. I didn't rearrange much but did a full clean out. Ok well maybe not full but we got rid of a lot of "stuff" and now it seems so wonderful just to be down there but I am not getting a lot done. I think I must be afraid of messing it up too much, because I know how bad it can get. I know where everything is and I am not having to spend ANY time looking for it under piles like I used to do. I guess I just don't understand this feeling, it's so foreign to me. But today I played, I wanted to use the new Mini Treat Bag Framelit and so I looked on Pinterest and found this awesome idea to make it into a box instead of a bag. I started with this Valentine idea.
I used the Kraft Cardstock to make my box base then embellished it mostly with the pieces from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. Before assembling the box I cut out the heart using the framelit from the Mini Treat Bag set. You get SO many pieces with this framelit set. It's not just the bag but oh so much more! Think outside the box...bag!
Then I wanted to feature a flower from the Petal Potpourri set that I colored with Calypso Coral Blendabilitites. So I came up with this design for the front of my box.
The Wonderful crystal button is from the Artisan Embellishment Kit. There are some AMAZING pieces in that kit. I love every button, ribbon and bauble in it.
