We seem to have puppy fever in my house right now. My daughters are always fawning over every cute puppy they see on TV or on the street and puppy videos OY...say no more. My eldest could waste a lot of time looking at cute puppy videos online. Usually I am not drawn to the dog or cat sets in the Stampin' Up! catalog but this year is a different story. Bella is just adorable and she can do some amazing things! Here she is being a great friend and flying when maybe her friend is struggling a little. Who couldn't use this little pick-me-up!
Isn't she adorable?! Her little friends name is Skittles. How do I know this? Because this stamp set was designed by one of the Stampin' Up! million dollar sales achievers Angie Juda and these are her real pets. Good Job Angie! Bella & Friends is so much fun!
On this card I had fun watercoloring the two friends. I used Shimmer White paper and Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp and then used my beloved Aqua Painter to fill in color from my ink pad lid. I think skittles is a green cheeked parakeet or conure but I didn't know this when I painted it so my coloring was off but I was happy that I knew she needed to be green at least! I love to watercolor in images. I tried once to just watercolor a picture and I would say I was less than successful at it but coloring in the professional artwork that Stampin' Up! creates for you is much, much easier!
Enjoy!
