Mixed Borders ~ It's a Fiesta!

I told you I love this set! Mixed borders is so versatile.  Subtle to Bright! I love this idea and it looks like I colored the border with markers and it would be so hard but each line is one stamp so it's easy to ink and clean and re-ink with another color. The space for the greeting is built right into the border.  It's so clever.

The border is repeated 5 times in 5 coordinating colors to the Designer Series Paper. Then the greeting is stamped in the middle.  I also added some strands from the new burlap ribbon.  It's not a true burlap like the ribbon that retired last season but strands of cord forming a 5/8" ribbon. I pulled 3 or 4 out and tied it in a knot.  

I couldn't help but pull out my maraca.  The colors remind me this pretty musical instrument I received from Stampin' Up! a few years back at an event they held for us.  Pretty, Pretty colors.
