Did I ever dream in a million years that I would be designing with a pink flamingo and loving it? Never! But I do! This fun Pop of Paradise set is crazy fun. I am seeing pink flamingos or flamingoes (wiki says either is fine ;-) everywhere and that pineapple...seriously you can't go shopping or watch TV without seeing fun Pineapples everywhere. No, I am not seeing things, can't you see them too? Here is how I used both of them on my card.
Of course I needed to use the new Flirty Flamingo as my base color. I spritzed my Shimmer white paper with water before stamping my flamingo so it blurred the image ever so slightly. Then I used my Gold Wink of Stella and flicked it over my flamingo because I thought i needed more bling! Mounting it on Blushing Bride Glimmer paper just wasn't quite enough <wink wink>.
I stamped the pineapple as my background on my Basic Gray paper. I used Versamark so I had a tone on tone effect. I wanted a stylized look so I flipped the pineapple upside down every other image for a fun wallpaper look. The new ruched ribbon is just placed behind the image to separate the Designer Series Paper from the Wallpaper stamped background. It's really yummy. It is soft and pretty. You have to get some!
